Smoothie Adventure V 2.0

Smoothies have become an every other day occurrence around here. Our most recent endeavor included grapefruit, blueberries, bananas, ice and OJ.

The grapefruit was a big hit, and even better because it came from a tree close to my home.

Do you have smoothie mix-in suggestions for Scott and I?


  1. I love smoothies. Sadly I haven't tried a lot of smoothies. I've only had strawberry banana.

  2. Looks delicious! And I love that you used local grapefruit - sounds like a great smoothie addition... I've been coming across lots of smoothie-makers around the blogosphere and I think I need to make one for myself soon!

  3. My smoothie is my favorite thing to have every morning....I use banana, a scoop of peanut butter,OJ,strawberries,blueberries,raspberries, blackberries and a scoop of flax seed and a scoop of yogurt....the best!

  4. I love smoothies, but I haven't made one in a long while! Normally I would just grab random fruits and yogurts from my fridge and try them out. :)

  5. this may sound disgusting, but it is super, super good.
    frozen berries, oj, a bit of water, and spinach! and kale if you have some. you can't taste the greens at all, and not only is it good, but it's good for you :)

  6. I worked for four years at a smoothie joint! I should email you guys an entire list of smoothies to try. This sounds delicious!! My favorite was cranberry juice, frozen bluberries raspberries strawberries with a touch of strawberry frozen yogurt all blended up = delicious!
    also, oranges strawberries banana and pineapple is a really good one!!

    mango,peaches,bananas, guava, and passionfruit = this is the summer allstar drink!
    for a dessert smoothie that you guys should try!! chocolate soymilk, vanilla icecream and bananas. SO good! Have fun and let me know if you make any of them!! xoxo

    try frozen mixed berries, frozen banana, a few peach slices, and for the liquid half apple juice and half acai juice...and i always add ground flax or wheatgerm and cinnamon to mine!

    Too bad I can't drink grapefruit because of my medicine D:
    But chocolate and peanut butter have always been a favorite down here :D
