Birthday Attire

For my birthday this year I treated myself to a pretty Madewell dress that I had been eyeing even before our local Madewell had opened. It was a special day, and I wanted to wear something special. I might have also purchased this dress because it reminds me a little bit of Beetlejuice (which came out the year I was born!), and I love it for that.

Scott was such a sweetheart to me the whole day, and he looked extra cute in his red denim button-up.

My birthday involved lots of coffee (these iced coffees were from The Coffee Shop), and I wouldn't have had it any other way!

I layered up my arm candy for the day with some of my very favorite bracelets, and a brand new one (the one with the pink diamonds) that was a birthday gift from my sweet grandmother.

May 2nd was also an extra special day because it was Scott's four year anniversary of working at Home Depot (that's right, he started his very first day of training on my birthday many moons ago). Congratulations, honey, I am SO proud of you!

  1. Aw, you both look adorable! And happy (belated) birthday to you!

I don't know if I have any birthday traditions per say, though I usually procure a cupcake from the bakery in town and once I substituted mac & cheese for a cake (candles in the bowl and all!)

  2. Jackie here! I have a question for you regarding your blog. Please contact me when you get a chance. jclarkmca[at]gmail[dot]com
