BACK TO SCHOOL

Happy Monday! Recently, Scott and I went down to ASU to get a few things sorted out and take a peek at his soon-to-be grad school building. I am so incredibly proud of Scott for following his dream and taking the leap to continue on in his education. Going to grad school was one of the best decisions I ever made, and it feels so wonderful to see Scott continue on the now family tradition and get his Master's degree.  I'm truly so excited to see him grow and flourish in an area that he's so passionate about!

The day we wandered around campus it was super muggy - unusual for Phoenix, but it felt so good when we would finally make our way into the shade. I've heard a few locals joke about how fall is coming early with the "cool" temps that we'll be having this week. Oh, if only that was the case! Lately, I've been trying my best lately to wear items that I've had hiding in my closet for too long. This lace peplum was unfortunately one of them that fallen into the black hole in my closet. I love how it's such a great layering piece, and I really want to mix it in with my fall wardrobe. How do you think I could incorporate it into a fall look?

Outfit details:
Lace blouse: c/o Lily & Violet
White tank top: Target
Purse: Coach
Jeans: Gap
Sandals: Steve Madden

Today I'm starting out my morning with an early coffee date to work on emails, write this blog post, listen to Minus the Bear on Spotify and get my thoughts together before a busy and exciting day. I could really use some positive thoughts today, so if you have any to spare, please send them my way! xo

What are you up to today? Do you have a favorite piece of clothing that you haven't worn in ages? I challenge you to do so today!

Today is a lot of prepping to go back to school for me as well! I'm a Midwesterner, but in two weeks I'm off to California to work on my Bachelor's in Speech Pathology. Eeek!

  2. Such a cute outfit! You will definitely be able to wear that top in fall with jeans and boots or flats! You could even layer different color tanks underneath :) Good luck with your day and sending happy thoughts your way!
