SPRING IN MY STEP

The prospect of a new seasons always seem to put a spring in my step. Flowers bloomin', birds chirpin', our garden sprouting and growing more than ever - early spring really has been my jam lately. On top of all the spring vibes happening around our home, I've also been digging in my closet and pulling out a few pastels, light florals and fun headbands for my daily wears. While I'm not fully committed to kissing winter goodbye just yet, it does to feel to dress a little lighter and brighter, wouldn't you agree?

Lately, my days have been filled lots of time with my sweet husband, great friends, ALL the coffee dates and getting my health back in order. I've officially had my diseased gall bladder out for six months now, and while my body is so much more healthy without it, it's still trying to figure out how to work without it. To get everything back in order I've been going to the doctors, trying new medicines, exercising more and drinking lots of tea and less coffee (I knowww). I'm hoping that by my one year mark in August that all is back to normal, but until then, I just have to keep plugging away at it.

So, here's to great health and so much happiness this spring - let's do this, friends!

    1. Thank you so much for your encouraging words, Veronika! I know you've been struggling with auto-immune issues for awhile and it's so great to see you doing so well. I can't wait until I've got this all figured out, but will continue to take good care of myself in the meantime! LOVE YOU! XO

  2. As a fellow 20-something missing her gall bladder (it got infected after I had my first child,) I can say it will get better! That first year of figuring out what my body could and couldn't handle without it was tough. Hang in there! So glad you're feeling better! You look so spring-ish and sunny, it's giving me a little hope up here in frozen (literally) Michigan! Xx

    1. Jacqueline, your comment seriously gave me SO much hope! I don't know many 20-somethings who have had their gall bladders removed, so it's so awesome to hear from someone who has been there and has seen things get better! Also, thank you so much! I hope you get some sunshine in Michigan SO soon! xoxo
