Hello! I started writing this post when we weren't actually in California yet, so the title still feels relevant -- even though I'm currently sitting in our darling AirBnB in San Diego with all the windows and patio door open, taking in the cool breeze and our gorgeous view of a canyon below us. We arrived here late last night after a quick 5+hour drive from Phoenix, and now we'll be spending the next few days enjoying the cooler weather, the ocean waters, lots and lots of coffee shops, and of course, the Del Mar Fair!

Outfit Details:
Madewell Linen Dress (this season's!)

Scott and I have been dreaming about taking this mini-getaway for quite some time now, so we're very excited to finally be here and staying in the most darling place. If you have any suggestions of places we should go or things we should see during our stay here in San Diego, pretty please leave them in a comment below!

Have a great weekend, ya'll!

  1. Y'all have fun! You're radiant, as always!

  2. Yay! Hope you guys have a ton of fun, what an exciting vacation! If you have time, a quick drive to Coronado Island to see The Hotel Del Coronado is always a good time ;)

  3. Have fun, lovey!! And I'm pretty much obsessed with those sunglasses. SO darn cute! xo

  4. Go to Con Pane, a great bakery at Point Loma's Liberty Station (get the veggie Cobb on Rosemary olive oil bread and the butterscotch latte...butterscotch is house made!). Then go to Cabrillo National monument and check out the tide pools and a 360 view of the city and ocean. Go to Sunset Cliffs and watch the sun set. Check out the farmers market at ocean beach. San Diego is the best city!

  5. Have so much fun!! I love California & the ocean views are un-beatable. I usually only spend a day or two in San Diego so I don't have any suggestions really, but I can't wait to hear yours!

  6. Oh my gosh, I'm in Arizona too! We are planning to go to California this summer as well, but my fiance is helping his brother move to Seattle first :)
Love your blog, great style :)
